It’s been in news for a while now that Apple will soon launch iPhone 8. Now with this news it is also reported that this new iPhone might include feature like facial recognition along with wireless charging. Yet this news could be a rumor. This facial recognition will be powered by laser sensors with 5.8 inch OLED display. This news flowed from a note distributed by Cowen and company. Cowen and company is a financial service firm. This note incorporates many details about the upcoming iPhone which will release in September this year. It is also expected that three new iPhone models are coming in September 2017. Timothy Arcuri, an analyst wrote: “Other features appear to include some form of facial/gesture recognition supported by a new laser sensor and an infrared sensor mounted near the front facing camera and as expected, should also finally include wireless charging.”
iPhone 8 will also going to have “wraparound” design with Touch ID beneath the glass. Along with these features Apple is going to change its new iPhone completely by an all glass body encapsulated in a frame of steel on the sides Kind of similar to iPhone 4s series. Moving back to OLED screen, It will be more thinner, brighter, and will also consume less power. Which means battery power will not going to be an issue. Digitimes reported that, “The metal bezel will be made of stainless steel using a forgoing process to enhance its sturdiness and reduce costs and manufacturing time.”
According to analyst Timothy Arcuri, This new upgraded iPhone will result in a record breaking shipment after the recent decline in iPhone sale. Previously Apple has used this facial recognition feature through machine learning in its software including photos. But the features that Acruri has described are not previously available in any of iPhone, iPad or in Mac. iPhone 8 has to be the most perfect phone because it is very important for Apple. Last year Apple had to face a big decline in sales and this iPhone is the way to regain what Apple has lost.
