Good article in suggesting that Europe could benefit from a more proactively humane approach to these refugees/migrants.I wish though that more of their citizens, and others of the “First World” including Canadians, would understand that many of the benefits they enjoy in life are linked to the conditions that create these desperate migrations.With depressing regularity, their corporations have been instrumental in forming amoral profit-sharing partnerships with tyrant wannabes in most of these countries who in turn, through their brutality and nepotism, ensure access to the resources the wealthier nations desire.
