More than 30 years after the initial release of Microsoft’s classic Paint app in 1985, it is set to make a strong comeback — and this times it is completely redesigned with awesome features you gonna fall in love with.

Microsoft is reportedly developing a brand new  and enhanced version of Paint designed for Windows 10 users. Among other things, the new app will let you draw in 3D as well as offer a wider range of brushes and tools.

All the basic image editing tools are part of new Paint app. You can easily insert text, crop images as well as use a variety of brushes and pencils to annotate images. Further, Microsoft added new 2D shapes, 2D freehand features and basic 3D shapes in Paint available free to use.

It is anticipated that the revamped version of paint has been created with the Microsoft Surface Pen in mind as the app supports a wide range of tools with touch capabilities.

Though, there is no official announcement for release date, but Microsoft is likely to reveal more about the new Paint app at its special event in New York on October 26 along with new Surface device.
