Warid telecom customers will soon be able to subscribe to 3G services along with already running 4G LTE packages. It was reported by ProPakistani website.

Since the merger of Warid telecom with Mobilink, both companies are in process of testing 3G network for Warid users, according to the sources who informed ProPakistani.

It is worth mentioning that Mobilink is offering 3G services to its subscribers since the launch of 3G network in Pakistan. Warid telecom didn’t participated in 3G auction but later bought 4G LTE spectrum from Pakistan Telecommunication Authory (PTA) to offer high speed data services to its customers.

Currently, Mobile and Warid has started the testing of 3G network for Warid customers and it is estimated to be made public in next couple of months.

Mobilink and Warid are still in the process of integrating their services after the announcement of merger. Once fully integrated, the customers of both companies will be able to use 3G and 4G services from one platform.
