Just after the launch, the new iPhone 7 found itself involved in another hardware issue. The home button of smartphone does not seem to work with gloves.
This could be something irritating in winter for the consumers. Apple’s new home button functions more like a touch screen than a button, requiring direct skin touch in order to be pressed.
It should be noted that Apple launched iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus on Friday this week. The problem was found just after couple of days.
Apple’s iPhone 7 jet black and Plus models have already sold out
Myke Hurley, Relay FM co-founder, was the first to experience this issue. He then went on to Twitter – the popular social networking site – to say that the smartphone’s Touch ID ring only detects if the button is actually touched and may fail to do so if the hand is covered with any material like t-shirt or gloves etc. “No sensor connection, no click,” Myke said!
So here's a thing.
Cover your iPhone 7 home button with material (like from a t-shirt) and try to click it.

Although this looks like a major restriction, it should not come as a surprise. Most smartphones come with touch screen that required skin contact to enable sensor connection. Even the touchscreen friendly gloves with conductive material on their finger tips were failed to access the home screen.
iOS 10 exciting features making people crazy
In iOS old versions, one can simply press the power button and then punch the passcode in order to unlock the screen. With latest iOS 10, it is not possible to bypass the home button and user is required to actually place the finger to unlock the phone.
