Facebook Updation in Trending Section And Privacy Basics

I hope everyone is well aware of the term “Go With The Flow”, I think this basic thing is the foundation of a successful story. Change and a dynamic flow gives one thing a life. Going with the flow, Facebook has updated its Trending section and has presented some new privacy basics.

Talking about the “Conventional Trending Section” where people from all over the world previously used to see same, boring and most famous topics. But now a change has been occurred, Facebook updated its features. In the new trending section, trending topics will feature publishers’ names, enhanced Trending system and everyone in the same region will be seeing the same topics. Facebook will now be showing a headline from a publisher’s article about the topic. The Trending section will not be personalized anymore but will show curated contents from authentic sources. When people will click on a topic, they will be taken along to a personalized results page that will comprise additional sources and posts about the topic.

Before this update thing, the most debated articles were trended on top because of greater involvement but now they will be chosen on the basis of number of publishers posting identical story. This is one more additional step towards Fighting Fake News. To add more, users in the similar zone will be seeing same Trending articles so that they do not skip any essential news in their areas. These features will are slowly but steadily rolling out to everyone in the coming weeks.

New Privacy Basics
