Startup Lahore is an opportunity for young entrepreneurs from Pakistan to find investors for their startups. It is a global networking event bringing together entrepreneurs, national and international investors, tech companies,mentors,speakers and media to one platform creating opportunities for learning, training, networking, and more importantly to help build value driven businesses with digitally channeled alliances.
Startup Lahore is going to be held on 26th & 27th Jan,2017 at Expo Centre Lahore, Pakistan.Event involves more than 30 national and international investors and over 150 startups will be shortlisted to exhibit their startup. Information Technology University Punjab,Bookme.pk, Enterprise Forum Pakistan,Fatima Ventures and Punjab Information Technology Board are sponsoring to arrange this event.
The event is being held in collaboration with MIT Enterprise Forum Pakistan (MITEFP) which is a global organization of dedicated professionals affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) through MIT Technology Review. MITEFP is looking forward to engage stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and make a difference through innovation and technology.
Major activists for the startup founders have two key streams at Enterprise Forum: bring a new business idea or spin off a new company or product using your existing business resources. Startup Rumble is a part of Startup Pakistan and it is also accepting applications from entrepreneurs to fund their startups. You just have to submit a 350 words business idea to Startup Rumble.It has also launched a voting platform to be more interactive for public.
Startup Lahore isn’t only for entrepreneurs but it is also giving away free passes for learners or the one who are interested in training sessions.Startup Lahore is bringing speakers, mentors to the platform, as well as providing exhibit space for each startup so that attendees can also interact with them to learn something from their experience.
